SELFIE + ID

An age verification method that combines a live Selfie and a Government-issued ID to verify the exact user's age with a very high level of assurance.

What you need:
✓ A smartphone or webcam, ensure that camera access is enabled on your device and browser.
✓ A Government-issued photo ID (e.g. Driver’s License, Passport or National ID Card).
✓ Ensure that the ID belongs to you and has not expired.

## HOW SELFIE + ID AGE VERIFICATION WORKS

Selection: Select the Selfie + ID age verification method from the list of available options.

Selfie Capture: Using your mobile phone or webcam follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Selfie capture.

Submission: Accept the Terms & Conditions and click Continue. The captured Selfie image is immediately submitted to AgeGO's verification system.

Analysis: The system analyzes the Selfie for various factors, such as facial recognition, liveness detection (checking for signs of a live person), and image quality.

✘ IF THE SELFIE DOES NOT PASS VERIFICATION, THE PROCESS CANNOT CONTINUE.

✓ IF THE SELFIE MEETS THE REQUIRED VERIFICATION STANDARDS, YOU WILL PROCEED TO THE NEXT STEP:

ID Document Upload: You will be prompted to upload your Government-issued photo ID following the on-screen instructions

ID Analysis: The system validates the authenticity of the document and extracts your date of birth.

Face match technology compares your Selfie image with the ID photo to confirm ownership.

Verification: Based on the analysis, the system determines whether the Selfie and ID document match.

If they match and you meet the required age threshold, your age has been successfully verified.

Both steps are mandatory in this verification method.
